Tommy became a cherished member of our shelter family around a year ago. He was found when an autorickshaw driver noticed a distressed puppy entangled in barbed wires and promptly reported it to a nearby police patrol vehicle. The responsible police officer then forwarded the call to Saptarshi, our founder. Incidentally, Saptarshi avoids unknown numbers, made an exception and answered the call. This exceptional act of answering the call miraculously led to Tommy's rescue.

 

The barbed wires had inflicted deep cuts on Tommy's abdomen at two locations. However, with prompt medical attention and care at the Safe House shelter, his wounds began to heal within a few days. Over time, Tommy transformed into a healthy and robust sterilized dog, thanks to the nurturing environment provided by the team at the shelter.
