ABOUT

Safe House for Animals (SFHA) is a dedicated rescue and rehabilitation animal shelter service committed towards helping animals is distress by providing them with safe and healthy spaces for feeding, medical treatment and rehabilitation. Once they reach here, senior, abandoned, mistreated or neglected animals get a nurturing environment and lead their lives with love, care and dignity. We ensure that the animals of SHFA are given the best possible care, promoting their good health and providing them with the love and attention they need to thrive.

SHFA currently provides care and support to approximately 115 resident animals, mainly consisting of dogs and cows. Additionally, our Out Patient Department (OPD) offers free medical treatment to injured or distressed animals, including birds, that are brought to our shelter. We also provide a home for numerous puppies who have lost their parents due to accidents and calves abandoned at birth since they are considered economically valueless to humans.
In addition to sheltered animals, as part of our daily routine, SHFA ensures the well-being of over 160 street dogs in Gurgaon (Haryana) and 50 street dogs in Dharamshala (Himachal Pradesh) through regular feeding and care.
SHFA operates as a key project supported by The Care and Compassion Society (CACS). The endeavor is to bring together individuals from diverse backgrounds and age groups who are passionate about creating a world where animals are free from cruelty and inhumane treatment. CACS operate as a community-driven organization, run by members and dedicated to providing a unified and influential voice to all who join us.
