Our team at Safe House for Animals is led by Saptarshi Roy, the founder of the organization. Saptarshi is an EdTech professional who discovered his passion for animal welfare. His journey began by feeding animals on the streets of South Delhi, and he soon became actively involved in rescue and rehabilitation work on a voluntary basis. Motivated by his deep love for animals, Saptarshi established the Safe House for Animals.

Saptarshi is dedicated to changing people's perceptions of animals, advocating for their rights, and ensuring their well-being. He has been instrumental in rescuing and saving numerous animals, providing them with a chance to live a life of dignity and care. Additionally, Saptarshi has actively pursued legal action against illegal animal transportation and cruelty cases in courts across Rajasthan, Haryana, and Delhi.

His efforts extend beyond individual rescue missions and legal battles. Saptarshi has utilized the power of Right to Information (RTI) applications and Public Interest Litigations (PILs) to shed light on crucial animal welfare issues, sparking important discussions in the public sphere. Through his work, Saptarshi strives to create a more compassionate and empathetic society, where animals are respected and protected.
