Vishwaas: Seeing is Believing

On August 22, 2022, Jasleen, an animal volunteer from West Delhi received a distressed call from a police officer who was part of an animal welfare team. He informed her that a woman had witnessed the killing of a dog, which was then dumped in a gunny sack on a garbage heap. Despite facing resistance from uncooperative locals who denied any knowledge of the incident, Jasleen along with other volunteers continued their search for the dog and eventually located him in a garbage dump near a cremation ground. For SOS treatment they took him to Sanjay Gandhi Animal Care Centre, However, due to the immense cruelty inflicted upon him, Vishwaas lost his eyesight in the brutal attack and would henceforth need long-term care and life-long assistance.

Jasleen had heard about the Safe House for Animal Shelter and felt that it may be best for his safety and well-being. Rightfully so, Vishwaas received exceptional care and attention at SFHA. Remarkably, under the shelter's care, his eyesight was also restored. The turnaround of Vishwaas's health and wellness has behind it the dedicated team at the Safe House shelter and volunteers who are raising funds for his continued treatment and rehabilitation.
