During the devastating period of the Covid-19 pandemic, a heart-wrenching story unfolded. Ruby's mother, who resided near a liquor shop, gave birth to six puppies. Tragically, four of the puppies succumbed to Canine Parvovirus, and the mother also passed away, leaving only Ruby as the sole survivor in this world.

Our founder, Saptarshi, ever vigilant, noticed Ruby wandering alone in the parking area. He decided to take her under his care and provided her with a home for approximately five months. However, circumstances led to him having to travel to Himachal Pradesh, and it was at this point that Ruby was brought to the shelter. Since then, Ruby has become one of the cherished and prominent residents of the shelter and is doing very well.
